ENGLISH AS FOREIGN LANGUAGE

language is very for our life. We can do anything such as express our ideas, feeling, develop our knowledge and communicate with one another because of language. Language can not be separated from all of human activities. It cannot be imagined, if here is no language in the world. We can not interact with other people and exchange our knowledge. That is why a language is very important for us. Every country has own language, so there are many languages in the world but there is one language that is used by most people and countries, it is English. English is one of the international languages, by using English we can communicate with people from other country that have difference language.

English is the language of diplomacy and international communications, business, tourism, education, science, computer technology, media and internet. Because English was used to develop communication, technology, programming, software, etc. English is used  by many countries as a foreign language or second language, such as India, china, Japan, Indonesia, etc. In our country English becomes the first foreign language besides the mother tongue and national language. It is taught from elementary as local content, junior high school up to university as a compulsory subject. The goal of learning English is the students are expected to be able to used in real communication both oral and written form. There are four  skills that must be learned by students, namely listening, speaking, reading, and writing. These skills are closely related each other. The students not only should master these skills but also language component, such as vocabulary, structure, phonology, etc.language is very for our life.
